So, after their journey on finding the magical source that can make their richness desire come true and asking for it, the story has a happy ending. That is not the case of The Monkey's paw (W.W. Jacobs, 1902) where the wishes requested do not necessarily meet desired criteria and, the story itself doesn't have the typical "<em>they lived happily ever after</em>" ending.
