⇛ 2x²+8x-7x-28 = 0

⇛ 2x(x+4)-7(x+4) = 0

⇛ (x+4)(2x-7) = 0

⇛ x+4 = 0 or 2x-7 = 0

⇛ x = -4 or 2x = 7

⇛x = -4 or x = 7/2.

The first thing you want to do is get them all into decimal format. You can do this to fractions by dividing the denominator from the numerator. then you organize the decimals into least to greatest.
