The fact that people usually correctly remember where they were when they learned of the September 11th, 2001, attacks but are l
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

flashbulb memories

Explanation:

The idea that people typically recall accurately where they were actaully when they heard about September 11, 2001, attacks but are less precise about what they were doing or telling them, leads experts to conclude that flashbulb memories, though not fully reliable, contain "substantial kernels of accuracy."

A flashbulb memory is a finely detailed, extraordinarily detailed ' snapshot ' of the instant and circumstances where a piece of shocking (or emotionally exciting) news has been received.

Describe the civil wars in Syria and Yemen. How are they similar? How are they<br>different
katrin [286]

Answer: Both wars are due to the "Arab Spring". The Syrian conflict also includes an international factor.

Explanation:

When we talk about the similarities between the two wars, we can say that both are the result of the "Arab Spring". Arab Spring is a massive uprising of the people, predominantly in Arab countries. The people rebelled against the ruling structures. The revolution first began in Tunisia in 2012 and has continued to this point. The similarities between the two uprisings lie in the fact that a good portion of the population does not support the presidents in power and their arbitrariness. Similarities can be found in the religious and tribal frameworks that result from antagonisms in both countries.

The difference between the two wars lies in several factors. The scale, the destruction, the massiveness of the civil war in Syria is grander. Syria has many more factors involved in the conflict so that there are troops from many parts of the world supported by their governments on the Syrian front. On the other hand, the Yemeni civil war is strictly bound within the Yemeni borders, with the fact that Saudi Arabia has occasional interventions in the Yemeni civil war.

Plants can cause both mechanical and chemical weathering.

Mechanical weathering occurs when roots grow and cause the rock to break (just like the roots that crack the sidewalk).

Chemical weathering occurs when roots release chemicals, like acid, which then break down the rocks.

s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

D. Designing a process so that it can only be performed correctly

Explanation:

Poka-Yoke is a Japanese term which means mistake proofing. This refers to a process which is used by the people during any procedure to prevent any mistake or error that might be possible. Instead of making a mistake and correcting it later on wards, this concept believes in preventing that mistake beforehand.

Therefore, option D. Designing a process so that it can only be performed correctly, is the correct answer.
