Answer:

Consider the following misperceptions model of the economy. AD: Y =600 + 10(M/P) SRAS: Y=Y +P - pe Okun's Law: (Y - Ý )/Y = - 2ệu - 4) Let 7 =750, ū=0.05, M =600, and pe =40. a. b. What is the price level? (2%) Suppose there is an unanticipated increase in the nominal money supply to 800. What is the short-run equilibrium level of output, the unemployment rate, and the price level? (3%) When price expectations adjust fully, what is the price level? (3%) C.

Explanation:

A) from SRAS : Y = 750+P-40

Y = 710+P

From AD: Y = 600+ 10*600/P

Y = 600 + 6000/P

So solving two eqn

710+P = 600+6000/P

110 + P = 6000/P

P* = 40

Y* = 150

b) now M = 800

So new AD :

Y = 600+8000/P

So, as Y = 710+P

So at eqm

710+P = 600+8000/P

110+P = 8000/P

P' = 50

Y' = 710+50 = 760

from Okun law

(760-750)/750 = -2(u - .05)

1/75 = -2u + .1

2u = .0867

u = .0433

c) when price expectations adjust,then

Y = Y_bar = 750 : potential GDP

SRAS shifts upwards

So from AD:

750=600+10*800/P

P = 800/15

= 53.33

allsm [11]

Answer: database

Explanation: By tracking the habits of the 100 million customers who visit it stores each week and by responding with products and services directed toward those customers' needs based on the information collected, Walmart is engaged in database marketing.

A database is simply a collection of (usually) organised information in a regular structure, usually but not necessarily in a machine-readable format accessible by a computer. The details of customers both previous and potential, contained in a database can be used in direct marketing to generate personalized communications for promoting a product or service for marketing purposes. As such, the practice leverages customer data to deliver more personalized, relevant and effective marketing messages to customers making marketing communications more targeted, efficient, personalized, and an opportunity to improve customer service and experience.

You purchase a twenty year zero coupon bond with a yield of 5%. One year later you sell the bond at a yield of 4%. What is your
astraxan [27]

Answer:

25.94%

Explanation:

Assume, Face value of bond =$1000

Purchase price of twenty year zero coupon bond = 1000/((1+i)^N) . Where, yield = 5% =0.05 , N= number of years to maturity =20

==> Purchase Price = 1000/(1.05^20)

Purchase Price = 1000/2.65329770514

Purchase Price = $376.89

Selling Price after one year:  1000/(1+I)^19. Where i=yield=4%=0.04, N=19

Selling Price=1000/(1.04^19)

Selling Price = 1000/2.10684917599

Selling Price = $474.64

Rate of Return = (474.64/376.89) - 1

Rate of Return = 1.25935949481281 - 1

Rate of Return = 0.2594

Rate of Return = 25.94%
