Step-by-step explanation:

To find slope, you must do rise/run, where rise is movement up and down, and run is movement left and right.

So just start from the left most point and count the little unit squares up or down to determine rise and then count them left or right to determine run, do this until you get to the next point. (If it's a positive slope then the line will go up to the right, and if it's negative then it will go down to the right).

For example: In the first graph, since the line is going down, the slope is negative. As you can see it goes down 1 and over to the right 3, so that's why it's presented as -1/3.
