Actually, the mitochondria does not MAKE the energy, it just makes it usable to the cell! It is through cellular respiration that this can take place.
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to you, and I hope this helped. I wasn't exactly sure what you were asking... if you would like more help, I would be more than happy to assist you!!!
Chromosomes are pieces of tightly packed DNA that prove useful in copying DNA for mitosis.
Hope this helps :)
Answer:
(I) 200,000 cal/mole (2ATP) (II) 380,000 cal/mole (38ATP)
Explanation:
Fermentation (anaerobic respiration) involves the breakdown of glucose in microorganisms such as yeast in the absence of oxygen to yield just 2ATP of energy while aerobic respiration involves the breakdown of glucose in high-energy demanding cells (such as liver cells and brain cells) in the presence of oxygen to yield 38ATP of energy.
The rate of metabolic activities in microorganisms is very low as compared to that in complex organisms such as mammals, hence the generation of a low amount of energy.
The answer is the nucleus intact.
An intact nucleus in an intact cell. The nucleus is where DNA is kept in cells. In cell biology, the nucleus is a membrane-enclosed organelle found in eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotes usually have a single nucleus, but a few cell types, such as mammalian red blood cells, have no nuclei, and a few others including osteoclasts have many.
