I think that Indra Nooyi is using social power because she involves the consumers in creating innovation. She makes a close interaction based on the feedback of the consumers. And as one community, consumers have also the right to propose solutions for continuous development. All the other choices do not conform to her Pepsi challenge. She does not use her personal power that may include her intimidating people because of her reputation. It could also not be legitimate power because there is no legal actions that are used. It also can't be expert power because she just asks for open ideas, and not offer to them her expertise of her field.

Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

bonds payable 134,000 debit

loss on redemption 17,018 debit

cash 138,020 credit

discount on bonds payabke 12,998 credit

Explanation:

redemption disbursement:

face value x redemption quote

134,000 x 103/100 = 138,020

carrying value: 121,002

loss at redemption 17,018

We are using 138,020 cash(asset) to pay a liability for 121,002

discount/premium on the bonds:

face value 134,000

carrying value 121,002

discount: 12,998

In the journal entry we must write-off the bond payable and the discount. Then, declare the loss at redemption and the cash used.

Answer:

Estimated manufacturing overhead rate= $0.00327 per engagement revenue.

Explanation:

We use normal absorption costing, with corporate overhead costs allocated to engagements using engagement revenues as the allocation base. The engagement expenses for Clarent was $1,219,990. Our estimated total 2011 engagement revenues equaled $373,000,000.

Estimated manufacturing overhead rate= total estimated overhead costs for the period/ total amount of allocation base

Estimated manufacturing overhead rate= 1,219,990/373,000,000= 0.00327 per engagement revenue.
