c. decide on a topic for the essay

a. create an outline for the essay

e. write a draft of the essay

d. revise and rewrite the draft of the essay

b. skim and edit the essay for surface errors

In order for you to begin any piece of writing or planning for your essay, you first need to know what you're writing about so deciding on a topic is first. Second, it is helpful to have a general outline or road map for your essay. This helps you to stay on topic with your paragraphs as well as point out any immediate problems with organizational structure. The next is to write a rough draft for the essay. Once you have the draft and know exactly how it all goes together, you can go back and revise for major errors and better language. It's not worth the time to check for minor errors if you end up making major revisions at this stage. Once all of the major revisions are completed, then it's important to spell and grammar check the essay for things that may have been overlooked.

Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

A word that helps one word in a sentence name or describe another word in the sentence.

Explanation:

Linking verbs serve two purposes. First, they serve to help rename or re-identify the subject. For example,

He is a musician.

The linking verb is connects the subject he with the noun musician. In other words, the linking verb is helps one word in a sentence (musician) rename another word in the sentence (he).

Second, linking verbs serve to help describe the subject. For example,

They are huge.

The linking verb are connects the subject they with the adjective huge. In other words, the linking verb are helps one word in a sentence (huge) describe another word in the sentence (they).

Why do people care more about whether their leader fits the group then about leader ship traits?
REY [17]

I would say, that people care more about whether their leader fits the group, than about "leadership traits", because while leadership traits are very important, if the leader doesn't fit the group, then how will you be able to get things done? The reason why groups are able to get along, and make more progress on what they're working on, is because of the way that the group collaborates well with the leader.
