Answer: The operation preformed is multiplication.

Step-by-step explanation: When you have a integer that is raised to a power, you must evaluate that integer first. For example, if you are asked to solve 2^3 + 4^7, you must first multiply. 2^3= 8 and 4^7= 16,384 then we must add these two products together to get 16,392.

How to find the product of to the power number: 8^3. We take eight and times it by it's self 3 times to get 512.

Hope this helps!

We have the following three conclusions about the <em>piecewise</em> function evaluated at x = 14.75:

  1. \lim_{t \to 14.75^{-}} f(t) = 66.
  2. \lim_{t \to 14.75^{+}} f(t) = 10.
  3. \lim_{t \to 14.75} f(t) does not exist as \lim_{t \to 14.75^{-}} f(t) \ne \lim_{t \to 14.75^{+}} f(t).

<h3>How to determinate the limit in a piecewise function</h3>

In a <em>piecewise</em> function, the limit for a given value exists when the two <em>lateral</em> limits are the same and, thus, continuity is guaranteed. Otherwise, the limit does not exist.

According to the definition of <em>lateral</em> limit and by observing carefully the figure, we have the following conclusions:

  1. \lim_{t \to 14.75^{-}} f(t) = 66.
  2. \lim_{t \to 14.75^{+}} f(t) = 10.
  3. \lim_{t \to 14.75} f(t) does not exist as \lim_{t \to 14.75^{-}} f(t) \ne \lim_{t \to 14.75^{+}} f(t).

In the figure, c || d. what are the measures of angle 1 and angle 2?
dusya [7]

Answer:

Angle 1 = 105

Angle 2 = 75

Step-by-step explanation:

Angle 2 and angle 75 are corresponding angles.

Corresponding angles are equal.

So,

Angle 2 = 75

Angle 1 and angle 2 are linear pair angles.

Angle 1 + Angle 2 = 180

Angle 1 + 75 = 180

Angle 1 = 180 - 75

Angle 1 = 105

How to write two different pairs of decimals whose sums are 14.1. One pair should involve regrouping
Nitella [24]
To solve, first let’s define regrouping:<span>
<span>=> Regrouping involves carrying and borrowing during subtraction and addition of the given numbers.

So let us have the non-regrouping decimal number:
=> 8.4
Next, the other regrouping decimal
=> 5.7

So now let us show how it becomes 14.1:
  8.4
+5.7
14.1

Starting from the right, 4 + 7 is equal 11, so bring down 1 and carry 1. Now 8+5 = 13, but 13 + carry 1 = 14
<span>Thus, the answer is 14.1</span></span></span>
