Answer:

Organ 1: Stomach

Explanation:

The stomach holds food while it is being mixed with stomach enzymes. These enzymes continue the process of breaking down food into a useable form. The liver regulates most chemical levels in the blood and excretes a product called bile. This helps carry away waste products from the liver. All the blood leaving the stomach and intestines passes through the liver. The large intestines are to absorb water and salts from the material that has not been digested as food and get rid of any waste products left over. By the time food mixed with digestive juices reaches your large intestine, most digestion and absorption have already taken place. The small intestines have three parts: the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum. It helps to further digest food coming from the stomach. It absorbs nutrients (vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats, proteins) and water from food so they can be used by the body. The small intestine is part of the digestive system.

Please HELP!! Place the events 1 to 7 in order of how they happen during speciation.
hoa [83]

Answer:

6, 3, 4, 5, 7, 2, 1

Explanation:

Here, speciation occurs because the original butterfly population gets separated into two populations, each facing a different set of environmental conditions. Initially, there was just a single population of butterflies in the valley and all butterflies were able to mate with each other. A fire destroyed their habitat so they had to migrate to other areas. Some butterflies migrated to eastern side of mountain and some to western side of mountain.

Now there were two butterfly populations and they faced different environment from each other. Over the time, the populations adapted to their local surroundings and started to accumulate changes in their genome. Their gene pools started to separate from each other. Eventually they evolved into two different species. When their old habitat was restored in the valley, they returned once again. However, this time they were not able to interbreed because they were now two different species.

Ne4ueva [31]

Answer:

It would harm the few plants that benefit from mutualistic relationships with mycorrhizal fungi

Explanation:

Mycorrhizal relationship is a symbiotic relationship between fungi and the roots of higher plants. While the plant provides the fungi with food, the fungi supply the plant with nutrients and water extracted from the soil.

Hence, if a wide-spectrum fungicide is used in a forest and it kills all the fungi in the forest, it will affect all the plants that share beneficial relationship with fungi in the forest.
