Short answer: a≥3

Long answer: so for this equation we are going to be simplifying, so we’re trying to get the variable alone on one side, so first we add 4 to both sides, getting us 3a≤9. Then we divide both sides by 3 getting a≤3, but we’re not done, since when we multiply or divide, we must turn around the sign, making it a≥3. Meaning that a has to have a value of 3 or more. The properties used are addition and division.

Use the quadratic formula to find the solution to the question <br> 3x^2-10x+5=0
nlexa [21]

Answer:

x_{1}  = \frac{5 + \sqrt{10} }{3}  and x_{2} = \frac{5 - \sqrt{10} }{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

3x^2-10x+5=0

x_{1} = \frac{10 + \sqrt{10^{2}-4*3*5 } }{2*3}                  x_{2} = \frac{10 - \sqrt{10^{2}-4*3*5 } }{2*3}

x_{1} = \frac{10 + \sqrt{100-60} }{6}                      x_{2} = \frac{10 - \sqrt{100-60} }{6}

x_{1} = \frac{10 + \sqrt{40} }{6}                            x_{2} = \frac{10 - \sqrt{40} }{6}

x_{1} = \frac{10 + 2\sqrt{10} }{6}  / 2                    x_{2} = \frac{10 - 2\sqrt{10} }{6}  / 2

x_{1}  = \frac{5 + \sqrt{10} }{3}                             x_{2} = \frac{5 - \sqrt{10} }{3}

GalinKa [24]

Answer: 80

Step-by-step explanation:

Looking at the ratios in the table, the number of days to number of questions is 1:5 (4x5=20; 8x5=40;11x5=55). So for 16 days it will be 16x5=80
