\leqAnswer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The distance, D, is given by the speed, S, times the time, T:

D = S*T

<u> D </u>     <u>    S*T  </u>         <u>     Time     </u>      <u>Equation for each segment</u>

200 =  150T1  T1 = 1.33 hr       y=150x         0  \leq T \leq 1.33  hr

300 = 200T2  T2 = 1.5 hr       y=200x     1.33 \leq T \leq 2.83  hr

400 = 250T3  T3 = 1.6 hr       y=400x     2.83 \leq T \leq 4.43  hr

The graph can be drawn as three lines, ione each for the three segments, each having the slope shown in the equation for that segment and extending between the range of values for T (which is the "x" in the equation and on the graph).  The y axis will be ditance, in km.

The overall speed is the total distance divided by the total time:

    D(km)      T(hr)

1)     200       1.33

2)    300       2.83-1.33 = 1.5

3)    <u>400</u>       <u>4.43-2.83 = 1.6</u>

      900 km          4.43 hr

(900 km)/(4.43 hr)

Average speed = 203.01 km/hr

Which of the following sets is NOT closed under addition.
Veronika [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The odd numbers.

Suppose you have 31 and 27 when you add these two together, you get 58 which is not an odd number.

If you need a more mathematical proof, you could do it this way.

2x+1

2x is even. Anything multiplied by 2 is even. When you add 1 you get an odd number

So continue on

2y + 1 is the other number.

2x + 1 + 2y + 1 = 2(x + y) + 2

2 (x + y ) is even. When you add 2 to it, nothing changes. The result is still even.

Find the GCF of 18xy and 32xyz<br><br> If you answer my question you will recieve 35 points
densk [106]
There is one 2 in common and there are "x" and "y" variables in common. Finally, the GCF of 18xy and 32xyz is 2xy.

Margaret has a monthly clothes budget of 50 she maps the Amy of money she spends each month to the number of items of clothing s
Scorpion4ik [409]

It is said that the graph plotted is the money spent to the number of items of clothing bought.

It will look like this:

The domain by definition is the set of inputs.

The constraint on the domain here is the monthly spending cannot be greater than $50.

So the domain will be [0,50] in dollars on the x-axis.

Given the following functions f(x) and g(x), solve f over g (−5) and select the correct answer below:
ahrayia [7]
Plug -5 into both of them and divide:

\sf\dfrac{2x-20}{x-1}

\sf\dfrac{2(-5)-20}{-5-1}

Simplify:

\sf\dfrac{-10-20}{-6}

\sf\dfrac{-30}{-6}

\boxed{\sf 5}
