This question is just like algebra. The gt sign is similar to an equal sign.
You want to isolate the variable (x) on one side.
And the numbers on the other side of the sign.
Then continue with algebra-
Make sure you don’t touch the sign or switch it.
You ONLY switch the sign if your dividing by a negative number.
Hope this helped.

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice that the equation shows KNO_3 going from a solid to an aqueous solution, which is dissolved. Entropy is essentially when a system becomes more disordered. Whenever we go from solid to liquid to gas, that's becoming more disordered because the molecules in the system are moving much more and in more random directions.

In addition, when we dissolve solids into water, that's another increase in entropy because we technically have a liquid component here and the molecules are now breaking apart.

So, the entropy here will increase.

Hope this helps!

Solve following | 2x + 9 = 15
vivado [14]
 • Answer:

x₁ = 3

x₂ = - 12

 • Step-by-step explanation:

Hi there !

| 2x + 9 | = 15

1.

2x + 9 = 15

2x = 15 - 9

2x = 6

x = 6 : 2

x₁ = 3

2.

2x + 9 = - 15

2x = - 15 - 9

2x = - 24

x = - 24 : 2

x₂ = - 12

Good luck !

What is the future value of $11,600 invested for 17 years at 7.25 percent compounded annually? $32,483.60 $27,890.87 $38,991.07
Black_prince [1.1K]
The main formula is A=P(1+r/n)^nt, where A=amount of $ in the account at the specified time, P=principal (amount originally invested), r=interest rate, expressed as a decimal number, t=time, in years, of the investment, and n=number of times the account is compounded annually.
In our equation:
P=$11,600
r=7.25%=.0725
t=17 years
n=1 (compounded annually)
A= 11600(1+.[0725/1])^(1*17)
=11600(1+.0725)^17
=11600(1.0725)^17
=11600(3.286654969)
A=$38125.20
