Every unit on the left side of the table is going to go on the horizontal or x axis. With a measurement of 2 you got 2 to the right of the origin. Then the right side of the table is the vertical or y axis. And your first number there is one so after you go two right of the origin go up one. Now do that for all pairs, do not connect any lines and remember the rule for graphs, first you go in the elevator (act on x first) then you go up (y next)

Formulate the indicated conclusion in nontechnical terms. Be sure to address the original claim.
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

a) There is not sufficient evidence to support the claim that the mean attendance is greater than 642.

Step-by-step explanation:

since in the question it is mentioned that the average attendance at games should be more 642 and according to this he moving the team with a larger stadium. Also the hypothesis conducted and the conclusion would be failure to deny the null hypothesis

So here the conclusion that should be made in non-technical term is that there should be no enough proof in order to support the claim that the mean attendence is more than $642

A spinner has three unusual sections: red, yellow, and blue.. The table shows the results of Nolan’s spins. Find the probability
Anika [276]

Answers:

  • Red = 1/3
  • Yellow = 7/15
  • Blue = 1/5

====================================================

Explanation:

Add up all the frequencies in the table to see that there are 120+168+72 = 360 spins total.

  • Of those 360 spins, 120 of them land on red. The probability of landing on red is 120/360 = (120*1)/(120*3) = 1/3
  • Since 168 land on yellow, this means the probability of landing on yellow is 168/360 = (24*7)/(24*15) = 7/15
  • Lastly, we have 72 occurrences of blue out of 360 total spins. The probability of landing on blue is 72/360 = (72*1)/(72*5) = 1/5
