Compute the requested operating costs as indicated, based on the preceding table and the following information. Choose the corre
zhannawk [14.2K]

We have been given some information about the type of car and the number of miles driven.

Using those data with table, we have to find about what will be the repairs and maintenance for this vehicle in dollars and cents.

"Car = 8 cylinder sedan" means use V-8 Sedan which is in the 6th column of the table.

"Year driven = third" Means select Third Year which belongs to 6th column of the table.

"Miles driven = 9,000" means select catagory in which 9000 miles falls. You can see that number of miles is decreasing in the table when going from left to right direction. So the 6th column (11,5000 miles) is good choice.

we have to find the "repairs and maintenance" which is in 3rd row of the table.

Now we check where the 3rd row and 6th column meet.

We see that they meet at value 2.3 of the table so we will use that for calculating answer.

Repairs and maintenance cost per mile = 2.3 cents

Number of miles driven = 9000

Then total cost = 9000*2.3 = 20700 cents

To convert that into dollar, divide by 100

20700/100 = 207.00

Hence final answer is 207 dollar and 0 cents.

Hey there,

Both x = 85 and y =are 80°.

1.) First off, the reason why there would be 80° would be because by looking at this angel, this angel is a obtuse angel. And also, it is also close to being a (right angel). And a right angel is 90°. So this is a clue that it would be around there.

2.) The area of this figure would be 300°.So in order to find the other angel's, we would have plug in both x =85 and also y=80.

Hope this helps.
