Answer:

The other acute angle = 33 1/3°

Step-by-step explanation:

Hard to read the angle measure.

one acute angle = 56 2/3°      x =  the second acute angle

Find the other acute angles.

The two acute angles sum in a right triangle = 90°

56 2/3° + x° = 90°

x =  90 - 56 2/3

x = 89 3/3° - 56 2/3°

x = 33 1/3°

I will determine the log base 2 of x for the x-values in the set {1, 2, 4, 8, 16}.

I will use these properties:

log base m of m^n = n,

Which written with the math editor is:

<span>log_{m}m^n=n

1) x = 1

1 = 2^0 =>

      log_{2}1=log_{2}2^0=0

2) x = 2

2 = 2^1 =>

     log_{2}2 = log_{2}2^1=1

3) x = 4

4 = 2^2 =>

     log_{2}4=log_22^2=2

4) x = 8

8 = 2^3 =>

     log_28=log_22^3=3

5) x = 12

16 = 2^4 =>

     log_216=log_22^4=4

6) Now you can plot the points on the graph. The points that you have to plot are:

(1,0)
(2,1)
(4,2)
(8,3)
(16,4)

You will use the functions soh cah toa. you know that angle b is 90 so the other 2 angles have to add up to 90°. with the Pythagorean theorem we can get that cb is 12 feet. so we now have all side lengths and 1 angle. you can pick out that 53° will be your final answer after doing the basic functions!

Help ASAP!!!<br><br> Identify the correct trigonometry formula to use to solve for x.
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

cos(55) = 11/x

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the hypotenuse (x) and an angle adjacent to 55 (11). The only trigonometric formula that uses adjacent and hypotenuse is cosine (adjacent/hypotenuse), so that will be your answer.
