Two gyms offer a two-month "boot camp" training program. One gym charges $4 per session plus a one-time $50 fee. The other charg
mario62 [17]
To answer this item, we let x be the number of sessions at which the two rates would be equal.

For gym A, the total would become,
                              50 + 4x
while that of B is
                               30 + 6x

Equating these two expressions,
                          50 + 4x = 30 + 6x
The value of x from the equation is 10.

The area of a circle is 1441 m2.
What is the diameter of the circle?
gregori [183]

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

The area of a circle is the radius squared multiplied by pi (we will use 3.14). We already have the area, so we will go backwards.

1441÷3.14≈458.9171975

We find the square root.

√458.9≈21.42235275

Now we have our approximate radius. The diameter is twice the radius.

21.42235275×2=42.8447055

I don't know exactly if they want you to round it or not, but the diameter is somewhere around there.

Have a wonderful day! :D

Jane has six different hamsters for which she has two cages, one red and one blue. She wants to put three hamsters in the red ca
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

12 ways

Step-by-step explanation:

The different ways to choose which three hamsters to put in the red cage.

At first , she must choose one of the two of the hamsters, Felix and Oscar, because they do not get along and cannot be in the same cage.

So, the number of ways to choose one of them = 2

Then she will choose 2 from the remaining 4 hamsters (order does not matter)

The number of ways to choose 2 from 4 = 4C2 = 6

So, the total number of ways = 2 * 6 = 12
