Answer:

On the morning of November 27, the 218 Marines and corpsmen of 1st Marine Division, 7th Regiment, Fox Company moved out “griping openly and vociferously.” Some were able to catch a ride on a truck, but most walked carrying a sixty-pound pack for a seven-mile journey in bitterly cold temperatures of at least ten degrees below zero, falling snow, and winds whipping off the nearby Chosin Reservoir. They were disappointed because they would rather be marching with their fellow Marines to where the expected action would be in Yudam-ni rather than guarding a road….

The Civil War was a fight against America itself. Yes it was a war against ourselves. The north and south disagreed on several different things. The north wanted to stay together and the south wanted freedom from the north. In the personal opinions of southern people we believe that we fought harder, we cared more, and we should've won. Even though the loss was unfortunate some of us still have our southern pride and wish we had won to this day.

Hope this helps.

trasher [3.6K]

Answer: Identity foreclosure

Explanation:

Identity foreclosure could be defined as the stage of the life of an individual where the individual has identified his or her self but their decisions are not independent yet, as their decisions, ideas are still dependent or learnt from friends and family. This is popularly observed with youths around 18 years. Lol falls into this category, although she's matured and can make decisions on her own but she still accepts the decisions of her family without questioning them.

belka [17]

Answer:

Dickens, the novel, which spans action in the cities of London and Paris

Explanation:

In context, which is the best version of the underlined portion of sentence 1 (reprinted below)? A Tale of Two Cities, the second of only two historical novels written by Charles Dickens, the novel spans action in the cities of London and Paris during the years 1775–1793.

A Tale of Two Cities dates back to the previous century and sets it stories in the beginning of the French Revolution. Paris is embodied as a city where corruption by the political leaders leads revolutionaries to rise up against the powerful but the violence that replaces that corruption is worse. The London of the book is relatively peaceful and quiet in a village of Soho where a loving family was raised by Charles Darnay and Lucie Manette.
