I have two freinds one named Anna and other fara one day I had no money so I went to their house and asked for money fara gave m

e 500 and Anna gave 100 ..on the way to market I realized that I lost 100 but I didn't told them about it and I still kept going when I reached the shop I bought stuff for 300 so I had left 200 I gave 100 to fara and 100 to Anna I told them I wil give them the other later so I have to give fara 400 and I don't have to give Anna any money cuz I gave her all the money she lended me ...I had Taken 500 from fara and 100 from Anna which means it's total "600" now if u add 400 to 300 and it's 700 but how!? Where did the "100" came from??!

Don't add the 400 to the 300 and you get the answer to be 600, due to you're supposed to add 400 to 200.

So, going to the market, you had 600.

At the market, you had 500.

Going back to the houses, you had 200.

You give away the 200 to your friends, splitting it into 100 and 100, so you now have 400 dollar in debt.

Since Anna have you 100 dollars, you only needed to give that 100 you split. You then gave 100 to fara, and needed to give 400 back to equal 500.

Before distrbuting the money, you had 200, which means you only needed 400 dollars more to fully pay back what was given, which it equals 600. So, there is no "extra 100".
