Answer;
Hot & Dry conditions
Explanation;
-C4 is the alternative pathway of Calvin cycle (C3 cycle) taking place during the dark phase (light-independent stage) of photosynthesis. In the C4 cycle the first stable compound is 4 carbon compound, namely oxaloacetic acid. Hence it is called C4 cycle. It is a process of carbon dioxide fixation.
-C3 plants have the disadvantage that in hot dry conditions their photosynthetic efficiency suffers because of a process called photorespiration. When the CO2 concentration in the chloroplasts drops below about 50 ppm, the catalyst rubisco that helps to fix carbon begins to fix oxygen instead.
-The problem of photorespiration is overcome in C4 plants by a two-stage strategy that keeps CO2 high and oxygen low in the chloroplast where the Calvin cycle operates.
Hershey and Chase studied bacteriophages which are viruses that attack bacteria. They labeled the bacteriophage with radioactive isotopes to see where it goes when a virus attacks. They discovered that nearly all the radioactivity was found in phosphorus, confirming that DNA contains genetic material, not protein.
Plasmolysis is an effect of osmosis in plants. Osmosis is the net diffusion of water across a selectively permeable membrane, such as a cell membrane, from an area of higher water concentration to an area of lower water concentration.
Hemolysis is the breaking open of red blood cells and the release of hemoglobin into the surrounding fluid
Both are cause by osmosis
Im pretty sure its A, I know this because the question is asking which on is an insertion for the original DNA sequence. A inserts a C in between the G-G.
