Can anyone tell me more about acting as a career path

Business

Answer:

Sitting at a cinema at age 11, I watched as the movie began to appear on the screen. Up until this point, I had been interested in a variety of professions, from architectural work to the medical field, but I wasn’t too sure. All I knew was that I didn’t want to be an actor. I was raised in a household where acting was viewed as casual, low-earning and a lousy career. And so I believed that.

The movie continued, and at about the 20 minute mark, a woman appeared. I didn’t know who she was, though she looked slightly familiar. A pretty, oval face and perfected wavy, brown hair, I couldn’t help but notice she looked like the ideal woman in a movie. She delivered her lines effortlessly and with such grace - I have to admit, I was pretty awestruck. The woman appeared for the rest of the movie, and there was something about her that strangely inspired me. Her attitude, her looks and her extremely talented acting had got me thinking.

Walking out of the cinema, I glanced at the poster for the movie on the wall. It had small credits on it, paying recognition to the actors involved. Surely enough, I spotted the woman, and above her, it read in white, capital letters, “Scarlett Johansson.” Now that I knew her name, I was completely determined to find more about her career. Going home and searching her up, I realised she had a passion for acting since she was little, and this passion had stemmed into her talent. I was beyond starstruck.

I felt as if I wanted to do what she did. Act in movies, portray a behaviour and become a character.

Who is in Kohlberg's conventional level of moral reasoning? a. Linda, whose moral reasoning is based on the approval of other pe
stepan [7]

Answer:

Option A is the correct answer - Linda, whose moral reasoning is based on the approval of other people

Explanation:

In stage three of Kohlberg's theory of moral development, the individual (such as Linda, mentioned in the question) set out to do the things that are considered “right” because it is good, not only for the family, but also for the school, church or peer group.

This stage, often known as the "good boy/good girl" stage, has morality, often spelt out as acting in conformity to what the social group general requires to be right and moral.

natali 33 [55]

Answer:

The alpha of the stock is 3.7%.

Explanation:

Alpha is the abnormal or additional return expected or received on a stock in excess of the required rate of return for such a stock as calculated by the Security market line or Capital asset pricing model equation.

We first need to calculate the required rate of return for such a stock and then deduct that rate from the expected rate of return to reach at alpha or the abnormal return.

 • Required rate of return (r) = 0.05 + 1.1 * (0.08 - 0.05) = 0.083 or 8.3%

The abnormal return or alpha for such a stock is,

 • Alpha = 12% - 8.3% = 3.7%

Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

... then the appropriate action for the Federal Reserve to take is a DEFENSIVE open market SALE, everything else held constant.

Explanation:

Defensive open market operations are carried out to temporarily offset fluctuation in the market of securities (either too much or too little demand, or supply).

A defensive pen market sale will lower the supply of reserves without having to change the current interest rates. If it doesn't do anything, the interest rates will probably decrease.
