The main theme of the story ‘’The Scarlet Ibis’’ by ‘’James Hurst’’ is Pride. Narrator’s Brother Doodle has a disability, so narrator is ashamed and embarrassed because of his brother. Such pride is harmful. He is so mean to his brother that he even thinks of killing him.
Instead of the encouraging his brother, he is ashamed of him and his own pride kills his brother. One day, they find a “scarlet ibis” in their yard. Since Doodle was sad, he buried it. During the storm when they were running back home, narrator ran ahead of his brother without caring about him. He got exhausted and died. He symbolises scarlet ibis who was buried.
Answer:
Socialization.
Explanation:
In my opinion, mixed school is better than single sex or gender school. I believe this because, students placed in single sex school may develop social anxiety around the opposite gender in their future. Social anxiety could be the fear of going to the grocery store alone all the way to never leaving their house and such. An equality important fact is that the student placed in single sex school may no longer feel as if that gender and sex fits who they are. The student may be nonbinary, transgender, or genderfluid. And growing up enrolled in single sex school would have a huge negative impact on the students mental health and overall wellness. Mixed schools, will likely show more equality. But it is important to remember there are positive thibgs about being in single sex school aswell as mixed school.

What this excerpt about Hecuba suggests about her state of mind is that she is deeply distraught by the sight of her murdered husband. Hamlet describes a scene when Hecuba saw Pyrrhus killing her husband before her own eyes, and was devastated by the scene. He probably uses this scene to allude to the murder of his own father and the grief his mother felt / should have felt.
