Answer:

x + 150 deg = 180deg (being co-interior angles)

:. x = 30 deg

2. y^2 + 7= 32 ( opposite sides of parallelogram are equal)

or, y^2 = 25

or y^2 = 5^2

: . y = 5

3. k= 2y^2 ( opposite sides of parallelogram are equal)

or, k = 2× 5^2

: . k = 50

Determine the slope for the equation.
posledela

Answer:

slope = \frac{6}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

y = \frac{6}{5} x - 4 ← is in slope- intercept form

with slope m = \frac{6}{5}

Solve the system of linear equations in two variables by elimination or substitution.
taurus [48]

Answer:

( \frac{1}{2}, 0 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the 2 equations

4x + 3y = 2 → (1)

2x - 3y = 1 → (2)

Adding (1) and (2) term by term will eliminate the y- term, that is

6x = 3 ( divide both sides by 6 )

x = \frac{3}{6} = \frac{1}{2}

Substitute x = \frac{1}{2} into either of the 2 equations and evaluate for y

Substituting into (1)

4(\frac{1}{2} ) + 3y = 2

2 + 3y = 2 ( subtract 2 from both sides )

3y = 0 ⇒ y = 0

Solution is ( \frac{1}{2}, 0 )
