Step-by-step explanation:

Math Formulas

Math formulas are expressions that have been created after several decades of research that help to solve questions quickly. It is easy to perform simple arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, and so on. However, when it comes to algebraic expressions, geometry, and other topics you need mathematical formulas to simplify the process of reaching the answer and saving time in the process. At Cuemath you will not only find formulas for every topic but will also get an idea of how that equation was developed. Thus, you will not have to memorize formulas, as you understand the concept behind them.

Use these formulas to solve problems creatively and you will automatically see an improvement in your mathematical skills. Given below is the list of formulas alphabetically arranged for your convenience. Hence, you can easily find formulas that need to be revised or require to be referenced.

The links to the list of math formulas available on different topics have been arranged alphabetically for your convenience. So pick a topic and start learning!

List of All Math Formulas

Depending on what grade you belong to and what topic is being attempted, you can find all possible math formulas. All variations of the math formulas available with their proofs and derivations are given below. So what are you waiting for? Get started on your learning journey today!

MrRa [10]

The average rate of change for the height of the plant measured in centimeters per day between day 0 and day 20 is 1.32 cm per day.

What is average height?

The average height is the ratio of change in height of the plant and the time taken taken for that change.

Given is the height of a plant in centimeters is modeled as a function of time, in days.

For day 0, the height is 18cm and the height for day 20 is 42 cm, then the average height change is

height per day = 42 - 18/ 20 -0

height per day = 1.2 cm/day

Thus, the average height of plant is 1.2 cm/day.

Please tell the LCM of the following -
Arada [10]

Answer:

Below.

Step-by-step explanation:

I won't do all of these for you but I'll show you the general method.

First write each number as prime factors.

For example number 7:

LCM of 24 and 34.

24 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3

34 = 2 * 17

The LCM is the multiple of all these factors EXCEPT if there is a duplicate number you only use it once.

There is one duplicate here - the 2 ( in bold) so we only use this once.

So the LCM = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 17 = 408.

Number 1:

13, 25

13 = 13

25 = 5 * 5

There are no duplicates so the LCM = 13 * 5 * 5 = 325.

Number 18:

15, 84

15 = 3 * 5

84 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 7

Number 3 is common to both sets so it is only used once:

LCM = 2 * 2 * 3 * 5 * 7 = 420.

Number 40:

18, 48

18 = 2 * 3 * 3

48 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3

There are 2 sets of duplicates here, 2 and 3 .

LCM = 2 * 2 * 2* 2 * 3 * 3 = 144.
