Then write a couple of paragraphs discussing why a sailor, such as one working with Prince Henry, might or might not have attemp
mina [271]

Answer:

Part A

They possessed ships that were incapable of withstanding the perilous storms.

Part B

They may engage in commerce with the people they meet and unearth fresh treasures. They may not see anything, but when their men return unharmed, they will have lost nothing, their men will be able to provide insight into what they observed, and they will not have to construct more ships since none were lost.

Part C

Even before you go out on your journey, you face grave peril. When you receive a royal summons, however, you may sail into seas you've never seen before or discover new water sources. Additionally, there is a possibility that you may get disoriented, at which point you may be unable to return home. Another issue with these trips is that almost everyone who was anybody believed in a right to the finish.

The Portuguese people also believed in legendary water animals such as Water Unicorns, Sea Monsters, Serpents, Rocks, and so on. They thought that Satan created the sea and tainted its waters. They believed that Satan's hand would emerge from the water, enraged, and strike their ship down, either for no reason or because they were wicked miners who deserved to go to hell.

What was a consequence of the religeous movment
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Challenging the contemporary belief that emotional damage invariably results from new religious movement participation, this study shows that membership in and exit from a world-rejecting the new religious movement may initiate the development of increased reflexivity and a personal sense of self for some former members.

I hope this helped.

Greece religion introduction
Amanda [17]
The Greeks had a polytheistic religion. They had these stranger gods that were created to explain supernatural events. Things like the god of war, nature, sea, or fire. They had religious offerings toward the gods. The people built colosseums and altars just for the individual gods. They also believed the gods punished them for so and so. The Romans adapted similar gods and almost had the same religion as Greeks.
