Please read the passage and then, answer the questions, please! Thank you for your work! c:
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:So from what I am understanding the first answer for that question is most likely D because it says that there were a bunch of struggles for him and it was hard for him to learn until two parents noticed him and took him in.For the second question it is C because I mean it's pretty easy it's related to the game and his tackle was related to a score and then the third answer is A I think and then the 4th answer is I'm not really sure I'd go with C and then the 5th answer is C.And then the worst struggles he had to go through were Moving in and out of foster family's I picked that because he had to try and learn different things while moving and different schools means different work. And then he had to re-learn things. For the agree thing,I do not agree it was because of luck he was doing his best and was trying really hard to make his dream come true.

Identify the sentence that has correct? subject-verb agreement. A. The staff get pizza and then eats together in the break room.
Arada [10]

The sentence with the correct subject-verb agreement is D. The staff get pizza and then eat together in the break room.

In this case the word staff is considered a plural because ever individual element is doing the same activity in the same place "together" but they are not actually performing the activity as an unit. They are side by side eating.

The other options are not correct because they don't follow teh subject verb agreement.

Which sentences in this excerpt from Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Contest" show Policles's lack of knowledge about the rules and re
Minchanka [31]

1. To Policles, it seemed that Metas was having less than his due, so he applauded loudly, and he was surprised to observe that the soldiers frowned at him, and that all his neighbors regarded him with some surprise. (Apparently, it is not common for the audience to show their appreciation in such an overt manner).

2. Standing upon his bench and waving hands and unpraised voice, he protested with all the strength of his lungs against the mad judgement of the audience. (This act is an apparent favorite of the audience but Policles can't stand it.)
