The spiritual worldview of the Hmong people is that the spiritual world coexists with the physical world.
The Hmong are members of an ethnic group that have not had a country of their own. The Hmong people live in Southwestern China. When the Chinese limited their freedom, they moved to Laos.
The Hmong people are animists. Animism is the belief that spiritual beings are concerned with human affairs and can either harm or help them. The Hmong people believe in souls and spirits. They believe that<em> spirits</em> influence human life.
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was founded based largely on the beliefs of W. E. B Du Bois. In 1909 Du Bois co-founded the NAACP along with others, with the intent to further the cause of equality within a fully integrated society.
