Well, an extremophile is a microorganism that is capable of living in extreme conditions. Conditions that could be like bone-chilling water or underwater volcanos. A fish living in this cold of environment and is not an extremophile is most likely a native fish to that area. Meaning that this type of fish could have been set in this are by another animal or human. Or, this could be a fish that can adapt easily to its surroundings without needing to be an extremophile. If not any of these, then it is possible the fish will soon die. Hope this helps!

V125BC [204]
The kidneys are the organs responsible for filtering the body from excess materials like salts and other by-products that can be found from ingesting food and medicines. Without the functions of the kidneys the body will get poisoned because it can't process such waste and bring it to the excretory system in the form of urine and feces.

The dialysis machine acts out as kidneys in the body, when it is attached, blood is transfused into the machine and the machine filters the blood. As this happens, the blood is then returned to body clean and free from toxins.

Mark may be getting lower amounts of nutrients and vitamins, namely omega-3s and omega-6s. This would directly affect the brain and normal body functions because the body needs vitamins/nutrients to thrive. This could affect the chemical balance in his brain, resulting in depression/schizophrenia/other issues, including eating disorders. Cutting down on fats might also result in overeating carbs and protein, which leads to an overbalance of nutrients -- and a host of other health issues. Not getting enough fat could also affect bone growth.
