It will take them 4 hours because if you take 2/3, it is = to 4/6 and 1/6 times 4 is 4/6

i.e. Length of fence =  \dfrac{2}{3} mile .

They can build \dfrac{1}{6} mile of fence every hour.

i..e Time taken to build \dfrac{1}{6} mile fence= 1 hour

Then, Time taken to build 1 mile fence=\dfrac{1}{\dfrac{1}{6}}=6\text{ hour}    [By Unitary method]

Then , Time taken to build  \dfrac{2}{3} mile fence = \dfrac{2}{3}\times6\text{ hour}    

=4 hours.

Hence, it will take 4 hours to complete the fence.
