You can mutiply the numerator and denominator by the same number or divide it by the same number as long as it is a whole number. Ex. (9/3) over (12/3)=3/4. Or (9x2)/(12x2)=18/24
Because it is really simple if it was an equation then it would be a number sentence since it only has 2 numbers and 1 thing that u are doing it is not a number sentence
