In your opinion, what is meant by the "Giving Tree" in our community. Think of what a tree is composed of.

Answer: Someone who shares there own items and supplies that they bought themselves.

Explanation: A tree can do photosynthesis and create oxygen. It then released the oxygen for living things to breathe in. Photosynthesis is like the money and oxygen is the item which then gets “given” away to living beings.

Rachael Carson was a writer, an environmentalist and a biologist who was born on the 27th of May, 1907. She was the first person to bring the harmful effects of fertilizers and pesticides to the world.

Wangari Maathai was also an environmentalist. Hailing from Kenya, she became the first African woman to win a Nobel Peace Prize. She was also known for her social and political activism.

Dane Jane Morris Goodall is one of the world's most renowned female expert on Chimpanzees. Born on the 3rd of April 1934, her research on chimpanzees spans 60 years. she is a primatologist, an anthropologist and an honorary member of the World Future Council.
