Assume that lines that appear to be tangent are tangent. O is the center of the circle. Find the value of x. (Figures are not dr
anygoal [31]
The quadrilateral is cyclic, because the angle that the tangent and the radius meet forms a right angle. Since the two opposite angles are 90° each, they form a 180° summation. Thus, the four points are cyclic.

Now, the smaller ∠O is 135, which means x is 180 - 135 because the four points are concyclic. Thus ∠O + x = 180°
Hence, x = 180 - 135 = 45°

∴ x = 45°

If anybody knows the answer i woulf appreciate it!!
Alenkasestr [34]
I believe that because there are 180 degrees in a triangle, and ACB is a triangle, you can add up two of the angles and subtract that from 180. So
30+50=80 and 180-80=100, that mean the angle above angle 1 is 100. And since angle one and that angle 100 are vertical angles, angle 1 = 100

I need help answering these questions. Can you guys answer all these 3 questions. Thank you
julsineya [31]
For number 7:

a) The sum of the adjacent angles is 180. Because if its any three angles thats half of the angles all together 3/6 = 180/360.

b) The sum of the angles in the center is 360 degrees. Because 60 x 6 = 360.

c) The unknown angles (center angles) are 61.25 degrees.

For number 8 (bonus):

It's C) 90 Degrees, because it's a right angle.

Hope this helps :)
