The history of Taurus
poizon [28]

Answer:

The zodiacal sign of Taurus does not coincide with the constellation of Taurus. It is a continuation of the sign of Aries and represents the second 30 degrees of the zodiacal circle. The sign of Aries represents the beginning of spring and with it the beginning of life, while Taurus is a fixed sign that continues what Aries has started. Life is in full bloom in the sign of Taurus.

The stars in Taurus constellation host two open clusters, the Pleiades and the Hyades and are mostly located at the end of the sign of Taurus and the beginning of the zodiacal sign of Gemini. In the Early Bronze Age it marked the location of the Sun during the spring equinox, just like the constellation of Aries represented the equinox over 2000 years ago. The constellation of Taurus was linked to it 5000 to 1700 BC, before the precession of the equinox moved our perspective to the sign of Aries.

In your own words, explain the processes responsible for the formation of a reverse fault.
zzz [600]
Reverse faults are exactly the opposite of normal faults. If the hanging wall rises relative to the footwall you have a reverse fault. Reverse faults occur in areas undergoing compression. If you imagine undoing the motion of a reverse fault, you will undo the compression and thus lengthen the horizontal distance between two points on either side of the fault.
if you stood on the fault plane the block on the right would be under your feet. this is thus the footwall. The tan sandstone has been pushed up and over itself. This offset of the hanging wall indicates that this is a reverse fault.

egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

A. True

Explanation:

The result indicates that taking calcium has no effect on the development of osteomalacia in the women. This is because, of the over 120 women placed on the calcium supplements, it happens to be minimal number of people ( less than 20 people) that develop the osteomalacia disease of the bone.

This is data from a visible satellite image. What types of weather conditions are associated with the image?
masya89 [10]
Hurricanes (also known as typhoons or cyclones, depending on the location on Earth where they form) are often associated with extremely powerful winds and torrential rains. I am not sure about the pressure, but the only option here that mentions both strong winds and a lot of rain is A. low pressure, high winds, high precipitation, so I'd say that is the correct answer.
