Karens monthly cell phone bill depends on the number of minutes, m, she talks. The expression 10+0.25m can be used to determine
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:  The amount of Karen's bill = $ 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The expression 10+0.25m can be used to determine the amount o, where <em>m =</em> The number of minutes she talks.

If she talks for 200 minutes in one month, then put m= 200 in the above expression we will get the amount of Karen's bill =  10+0.25(200)

= 10+ 50

= 60

Hence,  the amount of Karen's bill = $ 60

A baseball field is in the shape of a square. The
lina2011 [118]
Since the distance in between each plate is 90ft. We know from home to 1st is 90ft. To get to 2nd from first is also 90ft. So 90 + 90 is 180ft.

Now this question is weird because it could be asking how far would a baseball player would have to run to get to 1st then 2nd

Or

Could be asking the distance from Home to 2nd without going to 1st. So just a straight line from home to 2nd.

If that’s the case we need to use the Pythagorean theorem

Our setup would be 90^2 + 90^2 = c^2
Adding A and B will get us 16200. Now we need to divide to get to the other side. But C is squared. So we need to Square root 16200. Which is 127.28ft.

A softball has a volume of 1256π cubic inches. Find the radius of the softball.
RSB [31]
\bf \textit{volume of a sphere}\\\\&#10;V=\cfrac{4\pi r^3}{3}~~&#10;\begin{cases}&#10;r=radius\\&#10;------\\&#10;V=1256\pi &#10;\end{cases}\implies 1256\pi =\cfrac{4\pi r^3}{3}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;1256\pi (3)=4\pi r^3\implies \cfrac{1256\pi (3)}{4\pi }=r^3\implies 942=r^3\implies \sqrt[3]{942}=r
