No solution

-2(x-3)+5=-6(x+1)+4x

Multiply to get rid of the parentheses

-2 x X = -2x
-2x-3=6

6 x X = 6x
6x1=6

New equation = -2x+6+5=-6x+6+4x

Add same

6+5=11
-6x + 4x = -2x

New equation = -2x+11=-2x+6

That just doesn’t work

No solution

Step-by-step explanation:

-2(x-3)+5= -6(x+1)+4x

First Distribute:

-2x+6+5= -6x-6+4x

Then transfer all variables to one side and the rest to other side:*when transfer u turn to opposite number for example: -6x will transfer to 6x

6+5+6= -6x+4x+2x

The measure of angle x is 18 more than 3 times the measure of its complement.
Alex
Complementary angles = two angles that add to 90° complement each other.

So, angle x = 3y+18
y= complementary angle
(3y + 18) + y =  90
4y+18 = 90
4y=72
y=18°

x= 3y+18
x= 3(18) +18
angle x = 72°

Suppose the total cost for n tickets is $36 what's is the total cost of one more ticket is purchased
arsen [322]
$36/n because since there are n amount of tickets, you should divide $36 by n. I feel like you won't get me. For instance, let's say n is 6 tickets. So if 6 tickets are for $36, you should divide $36 by 6 tickets to find the unit rate. Hope this helps.
