1) Lily swims a 100-meter race

2) She swims the first half in 27.8 seconds

3) She swims the second half in 30.12 seconds

so

To find the total time to swim the whole race sum the time in the first half plus the time in second half

(27.8+30.12)=57.92\ seconds
