When Jesus travelled to the synagogues in Galilee the two things that he did were:

  • Healing the people that were with all forms of sicknesses
  • Preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.

When Jesus Christ was of age and began to do the work of his father that sent him. One of his missions was the preaching and the teaching of the word of God.

These can be found in the book of Matthew in the Holy Bible. Also as he preached, people brought in those that had all forms of sicknesses and diseases for Jesus to heal them of their ailments.

A reason for the homestead act- in your own words
Luden [163]

Answer:

The Homestead Act was intended to allow those who did not fight agaist the Union the opportunity to develope land, build a home on it and start over. Those that served for the Union Army were granted land at a lower rate. This helped to develop areas that were not developed, rebuild the South and give slaves a chanve at owning land

Explanation:

The Homestead Act, enacted during the Civil War in 1862, provided that any adult citizen, or intended citizen, who had never borne arms against the U.S. government could claim 160 acres of surveyed government land. Claimants were required to “improve” the plot by building a dwelling and cultivating the land.
