Hey, *name of friend*!
It’s been quite a long time since we’ve seen each other. How are you doing recently? I’d like to hear how you’ve got on since I’ve moved out of town.
I missed how we used to play in your back garden every single day in the afternoon, kicking footballs around and playing hide and seek. Ah, good memories!
I was wondering if you would like to see each other again soon… How does that sound? We could go out and enjoy some delicious ice cream by the beach, or we could visit the local park - like old times. I’ve missed you a lot ever since I’ve moved neighbourhoods. We used to have so much fun together, I hope to see you again soon.
I’m excited to hear from you soon, see you around!

Can someone write me a mysterious event essay with 150 words pleaseeeee
damaskus [11]

I headed to the camping site to meet with my friends at night. We planned so much fun things to do like roast marshmallows and barbecue for dinner. As it was getting late, we still couldnt go sleep so we all decided to go to see the beautiful lake. As we were walking to the lake, everything seemed to get darker and quieter. With every crunch from the leaves when we took a step, it felt as if someone was watching us. As we walked farther, it also started to get windy to the point where the leaves and the branches from the trees were moving. As this started to freak us out, we all decided to turn back and go back to our camp site but as we were walking back the trees kept on getting closer and closer to the point it was trying to trap us into a circle.

Hope this helps :)

Answer: The above quote of Chesterton is an example of a(n) paradox

Explanation:

 • A paradox is a self-contradictory statement. Although it might give valid reasons for a particular claim, it eventually leads to a logically unacceptable conclusion. The conclusion seems absurd, but expresses a possible truth. In this example, the same men who write about success are those that are not successful even in writing books.
 • An allegory is a literary device in which a broader message is given either in prose or verse.
 • A parable is a story which teaches us a moral/spiritual lesson (for instance, a story by Jesus from the Gospels)
 • A metaphor is a reference to one thing by mentioning another.
