It mainly uses magic in a special way by healing the body and it is a magician/ medicine man like a witch doctor using poetry and being mystic yet very strict. It is ecstatic but not painful, however, you do dad into demons and spirits without letting them take over your body, but doing this actually does invite harm into your life and not very smart and it is a very dangerous "belief" that people tend to rely on. So I would agree that this statement its true. Nowhere did I find that it is painful but inviting demons into your life will cause pain and regret, I hope this helped and sorry for the delay in the response.
