Hey there!

So because I'm kinda on a tight schedule right now, I can't exactly create a whole story for you, but I can give you an idea. I'm a writer, can't say ima professional yet, but I've been writing for forever.

The first thing that came to my mind was this girl (15, maybe 16?) who is always stuck in her chores and work, decides to just take a few days to rest. She wears something she would usually never wear (hmm skinny jeans and a tank top?) and goes to a place she hasn't gone to sense she was a kid - the mall. Now, keep in mind that this girl (still thinking of a name) hasn't interacted with the "common" people too much, so it's all unknown territory for her. Why did she go to the mall? I'm not sure, I guess she thought it would be a good place to start. I figured out a name, Jules. Jules wants to make some friends so she tries to talk with people, but they all either ignore her completely or just smile and walk away. Poor Jules. I know that this story isn't exactly about Jules learning or discovering anything, but I'm sure you can find something to put in there, like for example she learns that you can't just force yourself onto people and expect to become friends, or she discovers what true friendship is.

I've always loved the idea of friendship, it's one of the most important things to me, and I couldn't not give the idea to you. I hope you end up using it!

Also, the climax of the story is that she starts to panic inside of herself, worrying that her clothes are driving people off, and that she wasn't good enough for the world she was stepping into. While she's panicking, another girl her age comes up to her, from her school, and says something along the lines of: "Hey, your Jules from (whatever school), right?" That would be the falling action, and the resolution would be that they become friends and  that they can continue to be good friends for a long while after.

How does Vonnegut most clearly create irony in his story Harrison Bergeron
Dima020 [189]

There are three types of irony, verbal, situational, and dramatic. Verbal irony is the use of words to mean something different than what the person says. Situational irony is when something different happens than what is expected. Lastly, dramatic irony is when is when the audience is aware of something the characters are not.

In the story "Harrison Bergeron," Vonnegut employs dramatic irony. The audience is aware that Harrison was murdered by the government, but the characters although they witnessed it, cannot recall mere moments later that their own son was murdered. He was murdered for rejecting the government and their control over trying to make everyone equal and the same mechanisms caused his own parents to forget him.
