Distance = 475 time = 9.5 hrs since distance and time varies directly therefore in 9.5 hrs train travels 475 miles => In 1 hr train travels 475 / 9.5 miles = 50 miles and in 4 hrs train travells 50*4 i.e 200 miles

Speed of the Train = 475/9.5 = 50 mph

Now, In 4 hours,

d = 50 * 4 = 200 miles

In short, Train traveled 200 miles in 4 hours

Hope this helps!

Fill in the blank to make the two fractions equivalent.
Oksana_A [137]

Answer:

42 should be in the blank.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you multiply 7/8 by 6, watch what happens...

7/8 *6 = 42/48

The denominators are the same, which shows how the equations are probably equal.

I know it might seem confusing because I'm not great at explaining, but I hope it helps! Have an awesome day c:

babymother [125]

Answer:

  1

Step-by-step explanation:

You "complete the square" by adding the square of half the x-term coefficient. Here, that is ...

 ((-2)/2)² = 1 . . . . value added to complete the square

If you want to keep 0 on the right, you must also subtract this value:

  x² -2x -36 = 0

  x² -2x +1 -36 -1 = 0 . . . . . . add and subtract 1 on the left

  (x -1)² -37 = 0 . . . . . . . . . . . written as a square

Answer:

The answer is "It would decrease, but not necessarily by 8%".

Step-by-step explanation:

They know that width of the confidence level is proportional to a confidence level. As just a result, reducing the confidence level decreases the width of a normal distribution, but not with the amount of variance in the confidence level. As just a result, when a person teaches a 90% standard deviation rather than a 98 percent normal distribution, the width of the duration narrows.

belka [17]

Answer:

z = 29°

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the 3 angles in a triangle always add up to 180°.  So for triangle ABC, angle A = 59° (given), and angle B = 43° + 49° = 92° (given).

angle A + angle B + angle C = 180°

59° + 92° + z = 180°

151° + z = 180°

Subtract 151° from both sides of the equation

z = 180° -151°

z = 29°
