All cells come from other cells. New cells are created by a process called cell division. To start cell division, a cell grows b

Mitosis involves one round of cell division, while meiosis involves two. Mitosis creates cells that have the same number of chromosomes as the original cell, while meiosis creates cells that have half the number of chromosomes as the original cell.
