The mean would be 58!! Basically what you’re doing to get the mean is adding all of the numbers together and dividing by how many you’re adding. In this case, you would add all of the numbers and divide by 8 because you have 8 numbers ! :D

A rectangular rug has a perimeter of 20 feet. The length of the rug is 6 feet. What is the width of the rug in inches?
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

48 in

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the rug is 6 feet. We know this must account for 2 sides of the rug, so let's multiply 6 by 2.

6 × 2 = 12

Now subtract 12 from 20.

20 - 12 = 8

Now divide 8 by 2 to find the measurement of the remaining two sides.

8 ÷ 2 = 4.

The width of the rug is 4 feet. The question wants to find the width in inches, however. So multiply 4 by 12 because there are 12 inches in each foot.

4 × 12 = 48

The width of the rug is 48 inches.

Type the correct answer in the box.
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

f(g(-64)) = -190

Step-by-step explanation:

The functions are not well written.

Let us assume;

f(x) = x+1

g(x) = 3x+1

f(g(x)) = f(3x+1)

Replace x with 3x+1 in f(x)

f(g(x)) = (3x+1) + 1

f(g(x)) = 3x + 2

f(g(-64)) = 3(-64) + 2

f(g(-64)) = -192+2

f(g(-64)) = -190

Note that the functions are assumed but same method can be employed when calculating composite functions

Answer:

Slope = -\frac{7}{3}

Y-intercept = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

-> See attached

-> This equation is in slope-intercept form.

         [] When we use y = mx + b, the m is the slope and the b is our y-intercept.

PLS HELP ME ASAP!!!!!!!!! ill give thanks, and five stars
docker41 [41]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

The additive inverse property states that if we have a number a, then:

a+(-a)=0

Here, we have the equation:

2x=542

And we divide both sides by 2:

2x/2=542/2

To acquire:

x=271

So, we did not use the additive inverse property since we didn't add anything.

Instead, we used the division property of equality by dividing both sides by 2.

So, our answer is A.

And we're done!
