C5H10O5 is nonpolar

Further explanation

Pentose is monosaccharides. It is most common types of molecules with 5 carbons such as important ribose (C5H10O5) and deoxyribose (C5H10O4). 5 – Carbon sugars is Ribose (C5H10O5). The sugars found in nucleic acids are pentose sugars. It has five carbon atoms, where the combination of a base and a sugar is called a nucleoside. Ribose, found in RNA, is a "normal" sugar, with one oxygen atom attached to each carbon atom.

The 5-carbon sugars ribose and deoxyribose are important components of nucleotides, it are found in RNA and DNA

Bonds that are partly ionic are called polar covalent bonds, while nonpolar covalent bonds with equal sharing of the bond electrons, arise when the electronegativities of the two atoms are equal.

C5H10O5 is nonpolar. In a nonpolar covalent bond the electron, the density is spread evenly between the two atoms in the bond. These bonds can be formed between two identical atoms or between different atoms. It is termed as nonpolar because the difference in electronegativity is negligible.

A client at 16 weeks' gestation comes to the office for a routine exam. At what location within the abdomen would the nurse anti
schepotkina [342]

Answer:

Halfway between the symphysis pubis (pubic hairline) and the umbilicus (belly button /navel)

Explanation:

As the pregnancy progresses, the uterus enlarges and enters the abdominal cavity. At 16 weeks, the nurse should be able to palpate the uterus halfway between the symphysis pubis and the umbilicus.

The doctors measure the uterus by measuring the distance from the pubic bone to the top of the uterus in centimeters. The top of the uterus is caled fundus.

So, by about 16 weeks of pregnancy ,the fundus which is the top of the uterus has grown to about halfway between the pubic hairline and the belly button (navel) . It is usually felt when lying down.

What are the guidelines that nurses should follow when considering restraints
gavmur [86]

Answer:

Before applying restraints, the nurse must exhaust alternative measures to restraints such as a bed alarm, distraction, and a sitter. If the nurse determines that a restraint is necessary, its use is discussed with the client and family and a prescription is obtained from the health care provider.
