C5H10O5 is nonpolar

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

Pentose is monosaccharides. It is most common types of molecules with 5 carbons such as important ribose (C5H10O5) and deoxyribose (C5H10O4). 5 – Carbon sugars is Ribose (C5H10O5). The sugars found in nucleic acids are pentose sugars. It has five carbon atoms, where the combination of a base and a sugar is called a nucleoside. Ribose, found in RNA, is a "normal" sugar, with one oxygen atom attached to each carbon atom.

The 5-carbon sugars ribose and deoxyribose are important components of nucleotides, it are found in RNA and DNA

Bonds that are partly ionic are called polar covalent bonds, while nonpolar covalent bonds with equal sharing of the bond electrons, arise when the electronegativities of the two atoms are equal.

C5H10O5 is nonpolar. In a nonpolar covalent bond the electron, the density is spread evenly between the two atoms in the bond. These bonds can be  formed between two identical atoms or between different atoms. It is termed as nonpolar because the difference in electronegativity is negligible.

Ana works in the medical records department at a large medical office. Her job includes scanning and uploading medical records i
evablogger [386]

Answer:

Ana working in a medical records department means that she must have been briefed on the rules and regulations guiding the work. Also, work ethics must have been passed across to her to ensure effective and efficient work.

<em>Her behaviour of using the office computer for her personal aim could affect her employment leading to the termination of her job. Because, she is bridging the work ethics expected of her to uphold. </em>

<em>Also, her actions is a potential threat to the electronic health records due to hackers being able to access such sensitive information of patients through her. This would lead to the patients being subjected the emotional pain and blackmail by whoever had access to such sensitive medical records.</em>

<em>My advice to Ana would be on the need to reduce the urge to check her mail or do online shopping during office hours. She could do that using her phone and during the 1 hour break given to all staff in the afternoon.</em>

Answer:

1. Set of foods that  increases   absorption of iron into the blood stream and  that will not interfere with its absorption process should be combined.

2 .Iron-fortified foods should be taken along with Vitamin C.  The latter vitamin oxidizes  iron to aid its absorption in the gut, and its  mobilization  from the liver for absorption.

<u>Examples of Iron rich foods</u><u>.</u>

→Green leafy vegetables, (broccoli, Spinach),

→citrus fruits, cashews.

→Meat and fish:beef, Oysters, Shrimp, liver, tuna, salmon.

  →Raw Milk.,Cheese,

<u>→These foods should be combined with iron-fortified cereals for maximum iron absorption.</u>

<u>3.Foods rich in calcium should not be combined with Iron-fortified  foods , since Calcium  affects iron absorption in the duodenum.</u>

<u>Foods that impedes Iron absorption.</u>

→Tea and coffee act<u> as inhibitor to Iron absorption upto, 64%</u>

→Nuts and seeds(<u>unless taken with Vitamin C)</u>

→Pumpkin seeds, cashew, pine nuts

→Diary products Contains <u>Calcium and should be avoided. </u>

→tannin rich fruits (grapes, corn);

→gluten rich foods(oats, pasta),

The USDA recommends that whole grains make up at least what percentage of our daily grain intake?
arlik [135]
The most recent Dietary Guidelines for Americans<span>, released in January 2011, recommend that </span>all adults eat at least half their grains as whole grains<span> – that’s at least 3 to 5 servings of whole grains. Even children need 2 to 3 servings or more. Recommendations in Canada’s Food Guide are almost exactly the same. (Not surprising, since the human body changes little from country to country!)

Hope this help </span>
