Answer: Analogies

Explanation:

Analogy could be described as making a proper explanation of an object by comparison. An example would be Life is like a football, this would explain life in relation to how a football is being played or seen. In most cases, analogy would break down why a situation is so by taking a look at every component that makes up the problem, analyse them then explain them into solving the problem. Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Research conducted on homographs like bat or minute in lexical decision tasks predicts that you are likely to activate multiple meanings of the words and partially activate closely related words.

Homographs are one of two or more words spelled alike but different in meaning or derivation or pronunciation such as the bow of a ship, a bow and arrow, so are bear which is an animal and bear which is a verb meaning “to carry”.

In the lexical decision task, a participant is conferred with one word, typically visually within the center of a monitor. The participant's task is to come to a decision, as quickly and as accurately as attainable, whether or not the word may be a real word of his or her language.
