Answer: only has one solution

Step-by-step explanation:  If you find the answer for 7x+3x-8, youll get 10x+8. This will be the same answer for 2(5x-4). Making them equal and having only one solution

Answer:

x has infinite values.

Step-by-step explanation:

7x+3x-8 = 2(5x-4) = 7x+3x-8 = ||10x-8 = 10x-8||

In this case this we have the same eqations on both sides, x = anything.

In other words, x have infinite values.

Answer:

Initial value = 4

Growth factor = 1.6

Step-by-step explanation:

Function representing the exponential growth is given by,

f(x) = Initial value(1 + growth rate)ˣ

Here x = time or duration for growth

(1 + growth rate) = Growth factor

Given function is,

f(x) = 4(1.6)ˣ

By comparing both the functions,

Initial value = 4

Growth factor = 1.6

Mike thought of a number. He added to it to two other numbers. One of these numbers was 12 less than his number, the other was 1
Inessa [10]

Answer:

number 1  + number 2 + number 3 = 15

Number 1 = x + 12

Number 2 = x - 12

Number 3 = x

(x + 12) + (x - 12) + x = 15

x + 12 + x - 12 + x = 15

x + x + x +12 -12 = 15

3x = 15

x = 15/3 = 5

Check:

Number 1 = 17

Number 2 = 5 -12 = -7

Number = 5

number 1  + number 2 + number 3 = 15

17 + (-7) + 5 = 15

10 + 5 = 15

15 = 15

Answer is 5

40% of students on a field trip love the museum. If there are 20 students on the field trip, how many love the museum??
MariettaO [177]
Since there are 20 students on the field trip. Then 20 is the 100% total. Thus, to find how many people love the museum, we can simply multiply the total number of people by the percentage of interest, namely 40%

20*0.4 = 8
So, 8 people love the museum.

HURRY NEED HELP NOW 42 POINTS NEED 1 PARAGRAPH FOR EACH QUESTION there are 2 photos I put up and that where the questions are.
Shtirlitz [24]
1. All you have to do to find the area of the figure. IS first find the area of the rectangle. This is easy because all you have to do is base times height.

22 x 17 =  374

Now to find the area of the triangle all you have to do is  do base times height like a rectangle, but then divide it by 2 afterwords.
19 x 12 = 228 ÷ 2  = 114.

Now add the two area's together:

374 + 114 = 488.

Just do the same with the one below, I've altered the pic a bit to make it easier.
