Answer:

Advantages:

An advantage of unitary government are that it is a single and decisive legislative. Also, a unitary government is very simple system, and as such less costly to run. Another advantage of a unitary government is that the laws of the unitary system, unlike in a federation, are uniform because laws are made only by a single central government for the whole state.

Disadvantages:

A disadvantage of using this type of system is that it has slow government response. For example, there are no state defence forces that could be dispatched in cases of emergency. Troops would have to be mobilized by national authority. It is also easily loses track of local issues. Also, it is quite a divisive form of government where everyone is forced to compete with everyone else for priority.

Hope that helps....

When you look closely at birds, you notice that they have a wide variety of beak shapes. What might explain this adaptation? *
Minchanka [31]

Answer:

Beaks determine the type of food birds eat.

Explanation:

The variety of beaks was observed by Charles Darwin on finches on the Galapagos Island, and he noticed that, even though they are essentially the same species, they differ on beak sizes.

The larger beak finches tended to live in areas with a plethora of fruits had larger beaks, while finches that ate primarily insects had shorter but longer beaks.

Marrrta [24]

Answer:    Reciprocal determinism

Explanation:  As the name of this psychological phenomenon implies, it is a reciprocity established between the influence of the environment on the individual, but also the reverse influence of the individual on the environment. This theory of Albert Bandura talks about personal factors and behavior of a person on the one hand, and social circumstances, environment on the other, which exert influence on one another.

So Nadine shows concern for everyone around her, influenced by the environment, claiming that the world is a dangerous place. However, how Nadine influences the environment, according to Bandura, her personal cognitive skills and attitude, that is, her reactions to environmental events, also determines and shapes her thinking about the environment. Thus, the reactions of the individual may be too weak or too strong, at some event, at some point.
