I believe they basically lost trust in their people. The loyalty wasn't there. Also they lost a lot of money. War, expecially for 100years, costs a ton of money. Money for troops, amo, food, guns etc.
We would expect that Heidi would try harder to disclose more information about herself in an attempt <span>to reveal shared attitudes or interests.
