Hyperdemocracy refers to a situation where mass of people acting directly outside law in order to put out their aspirations and political pressure.
This could only be possible to achieve if the society has a free flow of information that allow us to connect with our representative easily, which are provided by news and social media today.
I believe their mindset it, Nobody is above them, they only rule for their life time, nobody else. their principals would be
