Friendship is a relationship of affection, confidence and sympathy that a person can feel for another person, family or not. Friendship is a <em>conditional</em> form of love, which does not involve any form of intimacy.

Love is a more profound kind of relationship that involves any form of intimacy, which may include <em>sensual</em>, <em>emotional</em> and <em>private</em> issues. There are both material (<em>Eros</em>), in-between (<em>Filios</em>, <em>Storgé</em>) and immaterial forms of love (<em>Ágape</em>).

<h3>Explanation - Difference between friendship and love</h3>

Friendship is a relationship of affection, confidence and sympathy that a person can feel for another person, family or not. Friendships can be influenced in a less or greater degree by <em>personal</em> interests but it does not involve any matter of intimacy and because of it, some friendships are transitory, but others may be selfless.

Whereas love involves a more profound and less transitory kind of relationship, since it may involve any matter of intimacy fueled by sentiments of greater affection and sympathy, in other words, love may include <em>sensual</em>, <em>emotional</em> and <em>private</em> issues. Friendship is necessarily love, but love is not necessarily friendship.

<h3>Love according to philosopher from Ancient Greece</h3>

According to philosophers from Ancient Greece, there are four forms of love:

  1. <em>Eros</em> - Love associated to sensuality and other private issues, the 'animal' side of love.
  2. <em>Filios</em> - Love associated to parent-child relationship, it involves both an 'animal' and spiritual side of love, less 'animal' than <em>Eros</em>.
  3. <em>Storgé</em> - Love associated to friendship, based on confidence and common interests, a love less 'animal' than <em>Filios</em>.
  4. <em>Ágape</em> - Selfless and devoted love towards neighbour, an entirely spiritual love, less 'animal' than <em>Storgé</em>.

<h3>Remark</h3>

The subject of this question is useful in the study within the fields of psychology, psychiatry, any other branch of medicine, philosophy, theology, ethics and morals. Yours sincerely, Andres Caballero, M.Sc.

jeka57 [31]

Answer:

No

Explanation:

She is incorrect in saying that she will not get breast cancer with 100% certainty. Although, since her BRCA1 and BRCA2 alleles were found to have no mutations signalling breast cancer, this means that there might be a very small chance that she could still develop breast cancer.

Even though it is highly unlikely that she will develop breast cancer, there is still a very small chance that it can occur.

Dental students healed more slowly from punch wounds received three days prior to a major exam than from punch wounds received d
astraxan [27]

Answer:

lymphocytes

Explanation:

Lymphocyte is a type of cell that is part of the body's immediate defense, acting against cancer cells and viral infections. Also, these cells are very important in wound healing. Slower healing of an injury is best explained by temporarily reduced lymphocyte production.

The concentration of these cells in the blood depends on the individual's physical condition: in cases of immunodeficiency, the concentration is low (lymphopenia); when there are infections or rejection of transplants, it increases (lymphocytosis). Lymphocyte count is a widely used test for monitoring diseases and infections such as those caused by HIV.
